Google CEO Sundar Pichai is apologizing for his firm’s handing of the termination of its chief Synthetic Intelligence (AI) researcher, a Black girl who raised considerations about racism in algorithms.
Pichai, in a memo revealed by Axios, claimed Dr. Timnit Gebru was not fired as she has claimed, however pledged to research the occasions that led to her departure and “work to revive” their belief.
